Locarno.
Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Free event.
From Sept. 2 to Sept. 7, the PUBLICsPACE kiosk will be active in various locations around the city. Open to all, it offers free collective writing workshops on the theme of public space and the concept of peace. The project will culminate in a 44-page fanzine and presentation at Palacinema, as part of the exhibition Peace Activism in the 20th and 21st Century from Sept. 12 to Nov. 2, 2025 and organized by Palacinema Locarno.
The platform stems from an explicit desire to bring the themes of the Locarno Treaties and its protagonists into the contemporary world, bringing them closer to the public of citizens and passersby through the languages of contemporary culture.
The kiosk will be located:
Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., Rusca Gardens
Wednesday, Sept. 3, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., La Rotonda
Thursday, Sept. 4, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Loctowers (across from Teti's Ice Cream)
