In a locarnese inn, several contemporary characters gather. Through theatre, storytelling, music, and live songs, they reenact the events, opinions, and challenges from 100 years ago: the memory of the Great War’s tragedy, post-war tensions following the Treaty of Versailles, and the last hope to prevent a new catastrophe. The twelve days of the Locarno Conference come vividly to life. The inn, transformed into a lively agora, becomes the birthplace of a new idea: Peace not as a contract imposed on the defeated, but as an ongoing creation—a foundation for new international principles and rules. This is the birth of a new spirit: "The Spirit of Locarno."
