The exhibition space of the City of Locarno will display a reproduction of the permanent exhibition that can be visited at the Castello Visconteo in Locarno.
In its traveling version, the exhibition maintains the narrative and documentary structure of the original display housed at the Castello Visconteo in Locarno, making it usable outside the museum setting. The exhibition set up at the Castello Visconteo traces, stage by stage, the early postwar period, finally leading to the Locarno Treaties. The exhibition panels recount the historical context starting from the premises that led to the signing of the Treaties. Maps, which complete the display, highlight the strategic importance of the borders covered by the negotiations, emphasizing those that played a central role during the negotiations.
